Route Description

Palazzo is once again situated at her favored location this season, in the most dynamic part of Amsterdam: the heart of the Amsterdam Zuid Oost area, close to the Amsterdam ArenA train station and the Pathe Cinema.

This new location is much easier accessible by public transport. If you travel to Palazzo by car, you will be saved a journey through the hectic city centre. Palazzo is therefore even easier to access and has ample parking facilities.

By car parking garage Q-park P21 (if full Q-park P22):

If you travel by car, the best place to park is at Q-park 21. This covered car park is 200 metres from the Mirror Tent. There is very little opportunity to park on the street in this area. It is possible to reserve parking spaces in advance at Palazzo for €9-, respectively. You will receive an exit ticket on arrival at Palazzo.

Walking route from Q-park 21 car park to the Palazzo mirror tent:

When you leave the car park on foot, you will see a number of signs directing you to the tent. Turn right onto the Bijlmerplein. Then walk past the LIDL supermarket and turn right at the corner. You are now walking towards the train station and the ArenA Boulevard. After you have passed under the viaduct, you will arrive at Hoekenrode square. Palazzo is on your left-hand side.

Take notice, when events are taking place in the Amsterdam Arena, it is best to follow one of the following routes:

Coming from Utrecht (highway A2):

Coming from highway A2/E35 take the exit A9 Amsterdam Zuidoost/Almere/Amersfoort. Next take the exit Gooiseweg (S112) and turn left going onto the Gooiseweg. After that take the second exit Bijlmerdreef and turn left going onto the Bijlmerdreef, follow the signs saying F-buurt/Amsterdamse Poort and you will find Q-park P22 on your left-hand side after 700metres, drive an additional 100metres and you will find Q-park P21.

Coming from Den Haag highway A4 (the Hague):

Coming from highway A4 (the Hague and Alkmaar) go onto highway A10 Zuid Rai/Amserfoort. After 7 kilometres take the exit s112 Duivendrecht/Diemen-Zuid/Amsterdam Zuidoost. Turn right, onto the Gooiseweg/s112 in the direction of Duivendrecht/Amsterdam- Zuidoost/ Diemen–Zuid. After 2 kilometres take the third exit Bijlmerdreef and turn right onto the Bijlmerdreef, follow the signs saying F-buurt/Amsterdamse Poort and you will find Q-park P22 on your left-hand side after 700metres, drive an additional 100metres and you will find Q-park P21

Coming from Rotterdam:

Coming from Den Haag (the Hague) A4 or Utrecht A20/A12. Read the route decription coming from Den Haag (the Hague) or Utrecht.

Coming from Almere/Apeldoorn higway A1:

Keep going on the A1/E231 Muiden/Amsterdam then take the exit A9 in the direction Haarlem/Amsterdam-Zuidoost. Next, take the exit 2-Bijlmermeer and go onto the Gooiseweg (s112). After that take the second exit Bijlmerdreef and turn left going onto the Bijlmerdreef, follow the signs saying F-buurt/Amsterdamse Poort and you will find Q-park P22 on your left-hand side after 700metres, drive an additional 100metres and you will find Q-park P21.

Coming from Alkmaar highway A9:

Driving on highway A9 from Alkmaar, take exit E-19/A4 in the direction of Amsterdam. Then turn onto highway A-10 Zuid Rai/Amserfoort. After 7 kilometres take the exit s112 Duivendrecht/Diemen-Zuid/Amsterdam Zuidoost. Turn right, onto the Gooiseweg/s112 in the direction of Duivendrecht/Amsterdam- Zuidoost/ Diemen–Zuid. After 2 kilometres take the third exit Bijlmerdreef and turn right onto the Bijlmerdreef, follow the signs saying F-buurt/Amsterdamse Poort and you will find Q-park P22 on your left-hand side after 700metres, drive an additional 100metres and you will find Q-park P21

By Public transport

Metro and train:

Palazzo is situated 30 metres from the Bijlmer/Amsterdam ArenA train station. Metro lines 50 and 54 and various trains stop at this station. When you leave the station, walk towards the Amsterdamse Poort shopping centre and Palazzo tent will appear as soon as you leave the station hall.

Bus:

In addition to the various trains and the metro lines 50 and 54, the following buses also stop at the Bijlmer/Amsterdam ArenA train station: 44, 45, 47, 49, 102, 120, 126, 146, and 175.

If you travel by bus, get off at the Foppingadreef stop. Then walk under the Randstad building towards the Bijlmer/Amsterdam ArenA train station. You will see Palazzo on your left-hand side.
